We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our Maintenance team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced, high-volume environment of a bottling and packaging facility, focusing on the preventive and corrective maintenance of our complex production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily machine startups and shutdown procedures.
• Observe and support the operation of fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, shrink wrappers, and carton packers.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities (noise, vibration, overheating).
• Record machine parameters and ensure they are within recommended ranges.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Assist technicians in replacing worn-out parts.
• Help maintain maintenance logs and checklists.
• Learn and practice basic troubleshooting and root-cause identification.
• Support maintenance technicians during machine breakdowns.
• Observe diagnostic procedures (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Assist in resetting machines and conducting test runs after repairs.
• Document breakdown causes, time taken, and actions taken.
• Monitor packaging line performance—efficiency, speed, and defect rates.
• Assist in conducting quality checks on filled bottles.
• Collaborate with operators to ensure smooth flow and reduce wastage.
• Observe and help optimize line balancing for improved output.
