We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our Maintenance team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced, high-volume environment of a bottling and packaging facility, focusing on the preventive and corrective maintenance of our complex production machinery. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring production machines (filler, capper, labeler, conveyor motors).
• Check electrical panels for signs of overheating, loose connections, or abnormal sounds.
• Observe and record machine electrical parameters (voltage, current, frequency).
• Help perform routine checks on motors, sensors, PLC modules, relays, switches, and MCC panels.
• Assist in cleaning and tightening terminals to prevent electrical faults.
• Support in planned maintenance activities such as:
  • Checking motor insulation resistance
  • Sensor alignment checks
  • Replacing faulty wiring or connectors
• Maintain preventive maintenance (PM) logs and update checklists.
• Support technicians during machine electrical breakdowns.
• Observe diagnostic procedures using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and signal testers.
• Help identify issues related to:
  • Sensors (photoelectric, proximity, level sensors)
  • Motors (overload trips, burnt windings)
• Assist in resetting machines and performing tests after repairs.
